End Of Year Goals
Well as 2006 leaves us and 2007 is in our path, we at DF&F would like to reflect on the last year. We set out to become debt free at the beginning of 2006 with some pretty lofty goals. We wanted to reduce our total bills from 21 to 10 when the year began and we wanted to go the entire year without assuming any new debt.
We just paid bill #13 in full today and only have 8 debts remaining. We have been living on a budget now for four months and getting better at it every month and we are no longer deficit spending every month. This is due to a combination of debt payoff and lifestyle adjustments. We have only the Lord to thank for our good fortune of the past year, and we have faith that we have changed our lifestyles permanently.
We really feel that the Lord will continue to bless us in the future and we will keep praying for his guidance in our lives. After all, we are managing His money for the good of His kingdom. Everything we have belongs to the Lord. Remembering that will go a long way towards helping us make better decisions in the coming year.
We really discovered that the borrower is slave to the lender and we don't want to be enslaved anymore. Happy New Year from all of us at DF&F.

Hey can I borrow 10 bucks? But instead of calling me your slave, can you please call me your bitch?
And I'd like to drop a note into the suggestion box of DF&F... let's return to the fun light-hearted posts. If I want someone to tell me how to live my life and what a failure I am, I'll call my mother thank you very much.
Sorry I have to go now.... this lard ass needs to call his DietiTian
